Abstract (en)

The rolling machine has a control circuit (55) connected to adjustment motors (22,23,32,33) geared to the end bearings (16-19) for the rollers (2,3). The bearings can be moved to alter the separation (w) between the rollers. Angled ridges (20,21,30,31) on the outside of the rollers are used for plastic deformation of workpieces. Each of the profiled rollers has stub shafts engaging with the bearings at each end.

Gemäß der Erfindung werden thermische und mechanische Form- oder Volumenveränderungen in einer Walzmaschine (1) korrigiert, indem die relative Lage der Walzen (2,3) oder Werkzeuge zueinander während der Umformung bestimmt wird und nach der Umformung auf eine Soll-Relativlage korrigiert wird, wenn unzulässige Abweichungen von der Soll-Relativlage auftreten. In der Umformphase werden die Walzenachsen (A,B) abhängig von der Drehposition gesteuert. <IMAGE>
