Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1455016A2] The frog (1), for railway direction change points, has a frog point (2) with two point pieces (3,4) and a sprung movement between wing rails (5,6). The point pieces are produced from tongue rail profiles. The point pieces are bolted to the connecting rails (7,8) outside the spring movement zones.
