Abstract (en)
An evaporator (10) has at least one core (10A,10B). The core (10A,10B) has tubes (15) and a pair of tanks (13). The tube (15) is configured to internally pass coolant, each of the tubes (15) formed by bending a plate material and joining both edges of the bent plate material to each other. The pair of header tanks (13) is connected to and communicating with each open end of the tubes (15). In the most windward core (10A), the jointed edge (21) of the tubes (15) is arranged on the windward side. <IMAGE>
