[origin: EP1455311A2] In a data-transmission stage, a second message is generated in a second data-processing unit (DPU) (2), while a preset appendix is attached to a first message. A third message is generated, while the second message is encoded by using a secret code only available in a first DPU (1) and in the second DPU. The third message is transmitted to the first DPU. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a configuration made up of a first data-processing unit linked to a second data-processing unit via a communications connection; (b) a data-processing unit.
