[origin: WO03053797A1] A carton and a blank for forming a carton comprising an open-topped box like body and at least one lid 12 hinged to the body to close its open top, the lid being hinged to an upper edge of one of a pair of opposed side walls 30, 301 of the body and the lid comprising a hollow box construction provided by inner and outer lid panels 16, 20 and an edge face 18 connecting those panels together. The lid is hinged to the side wall 30 such that the box section is brought into its full cross-sectional form as the lid is closed and such that the box section is collapsed as the lid is brought into its open position.
