[origin: EP1457140A2] The arm rest [2] is mounted on a carrier and can be adjusted relative to a central pillar [4] projecting from the chair. The angle and vertical height and horizontal position may be adjusted to suit the user. The unit has slides [22] and the set position is fixed by screws. A release lever [3] is on the underside.
