[origin: EP1457272A2] The changing device for a calender roll unit (1) has a roll carrier able to rotate in a calender stand (2), holding at least two rolls (6, 7). The rolls can be changed on the carrier, which has at least one guide for each roll, into which the rolls can be inserted with a roll bearing (8) relative to the axis of rotation of the roll carrier in the radial direction.
