The system has a screen roller (03) and at least one form roller (04) to ink a form cylinder (06). The circumference of the form cylinder is an integer multiple of the circumference of the form roller. The form roller is assigned to a calender cylinder (05) to guide movement in the axial direction. The form roller and the calender cylinder have the same diameter.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verwendung eines Kurzfarbwerkes einer Rotationsdruckmaschine mit einer Rasterwalze und mindestens einer Farbwalze, wobei mindestens eine als Farbauftragwalze ausgebildete Farbwalze einen Formzylinder einfärbend angeordnet ist, wobei die Farbwalze über eine Drucklänge eine Bewegung in einer axialen Bewegungsrichtung ausführt und dass die Umkehr der Bewegungsrichtung in einer Zylindergrube der zusammenwirkenden Farbwalze bzw. des Formzylinders erfolgt.
