A door or a window has an inner frame and a plastic outer frame (10) that is attached by suitable fixtures to the surrounding brickwork. The inwards-directed profile of the outer frame has an essentially U-shaped channel (34) that accommodates a matching metal profiled insert (36). The ratio of the U-shaped channel (34) height to width is between 1:2 and 2:1.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kunststoffrahmenprofil für Fenster und/oder Türen, insbesondere Blendrahmenprofil, mit einer Mehrzahl von Kammern und mit einem zu einem Falzluftbereich (30) ausgerichteten Falzluft-Wandungsbereich (32), wobei in eine erste Kammer (12) ein Armierungsmittel (14) einsetzbar ist. Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, ein solches Kunststoffrahmenprofil derart weiterzubilden, dass die Einleitung von Kräften über Schließmitteln über eine größere Fläche verteilt wird und zudem ein optisch gleichmäßigerer Gesamteindruck entsteht. Um diese Aufgabe zu lösen ist vorgesehen, dass der Falzluft-Wandungsbereich (32) einen Aufnahmekanal (34) zur Aufnahme von Schließmitteln (36) mit einem zum Falzluftbereich (30) ausgerichteten, in Längsrichtung des Aufnahmekanals (34) verlaufenden Öffnungsspalt (38) aufweist, wobei das Verhältnis der Höhe des Aufnahmekanals (34) zur Breite des Aufnahmekanals (34) zwischen 1:2 und 2:1 liegt. <IMAGE>
