Abstract (en)
An item of eyewear such as spectacles or sunglasses comprises two lenses and two rearwardly extending temple members, and each temple member is pivotally mounted for movement between in-use and non-use positions by means of a hinge provided in an aperture formed in a side of a respective lens. The temple members pivot through 180 DEG degrees when moving between their in-use and non-use positions, and furthermore the pivot axis of the hinge is generally horizontal.
