[origin: WO03051742A1] The invention relates to a plastic tube (1) which is prepared for the production of gas filled packings. Said plastic tube (1) consists of an upper sheet and a lower sheet that are superimposed and interlinked along their longitudinal edges (4, 6). The upper sheet is provided with a transverse cut (12) that is preferably lanced at its ends by punched sections (10). The upper sheet and the lower sheet are subdivided into individual pockets (7) by spaced-apart weld seams that extend in the transverse direction. The plastic tube can be simply filled by injecting it with a filling gas and the open ends of the pockets (7) are welded once the pockets are inflated.
