Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1459820A1] The projection is a work piece bracket (2) with a thread (5,6) at one end and a connection to the work piece (4) at the other end. The thread is formed by initially making a cut in the bracket, which is shaped like the thread contour, within the plane of the work piece, and the bracket is then bent at an angle away from the main work piece level. The thread is formed by stamping, or thermal cutting, esp. Laser cutting. The machine has a thread cutter, e.g. a Laser cutter (12), a bending station (11) with bending device (15), and a work piece transfer unit (17).
