[origin: EP1460000A1] The hinged top for especially a bottle has a cap (20) connected by a hinge (15) to an outer collar (5). A gripping tab (22) has as an originality seal design break points connected to the cap and extending in the longitudinal direction of the bottle. The cap in the region of the design break points is provided with a reinforcing rib (30,32) on the cap's inner side. The rib interconnects two sections of the cap edge (24) separated from one another by the gripping tab.
