Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1460024A1] A davit rests on a concrete foundation (14). The davit has an upright column (1) with a small first circular base ring (4) that is bolted (5, 6) on top of a second much larger base ring (7). The large ring (7) outer margin rests on a third spacer ring (8) forming a void under the second ring. The spacer ring has a link passage between the outer margin and the void.
