[origin: EP1460228A2] A hinge for a window or door has A furniture hinge has two sheet metal halves, each terminating on one side in a rolled tube. One half hinge has an upper and a lower tube which when assembled straddle the single tube terminating the other half-hinge. When assembled, the three cylindrical sections are in-line and form a single cylinder. The cylinder has a plug (23) with a hook for a spring (21) at one end, and a screw plug (27) at the other, terminating in a hook for the spring (21). The screw tip is anchored in the cylinder (1, 10) by a screw (31).
