Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1460725A1] The connector has a body (2) bored with an orifice (6) longitudinally delimited by a wall (7) in relation an axis (9) of the connector, where the wall forms a shoulder (5). An insert (3) provided with a retractable strip (10) is designed to be inserted in a groove (4) bored in the wall of the body. The insert is supported against shoulder of the body and against portion of a chamfered surface during insertion. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an electrical connector.
