Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1460881A2] The transducer has a housing (6) with a maximum external diameter of 20 mm, and made of thin steel plate with a maximum average thickness of 0.2 mm. The magnet system (4) comprises a lower pole plate (11) and an upper pole plate (10). The pole plates (10,11) are made of steel plate with a thickness of at least 1.5 times the average thickness of the base of the housing (6). An independent claim is included for a method of manufacturing a transducer.
