[origin: WO03056243A1] High-level built-in cooking devices with a heating chamber (1) are known, which comprise a floor chamber opening (7) which may be closed by means of a lowerable trapdoor (9) and a drive device (49), comprising at least one drive means (41a, 41b) connected to the trapdoor (9), for the displacement of the trapdoor (9), which is subjected to a tension force (FZa, FZb), counteracting a weight (FG) of the trapdoor (9). According to the invention, the drive device for the trapdoor may be switched off when the trapdoor comes into contact with an upper or lower stop in a simpler and more reliable manner, whereby a controller (103) is provided which controls the drive device (49) depending on the size of the tension force (FZa, FZb) being exerted.
