Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03039153A2] The invention relates to a controlled-access method of transmitting digital data to at least one terminal which is connected to a data exchange network (2). The inventive method is characterised in that it consists in: scrambling the data to be transmitted using a control word CW; generating a digital sequence S for the terminal (4) which is calculated according to a first random datum ALEA1 and a datum that is distinctive of the terminal in the network; calculating at least one specific digital key K for the terminal (4) according to the digital sequence S and the control word CW; and transmitting the corresponding specific digital key K to the terminal (4).
