Abstract (en)
The rail has a lower part forming a sleeper (10) in an elongated form, in a transversal direction. An upper part forms a head (30) and a plate at two respective transversal sides. The plate and the head define a groove between them. The sleeper is dissymmetric in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal direction. The sleeper has a center around which transversal force applied by a support column creates a moment of rotation. An independent claim is also included for an application of the rail in a track.

L'invention concerne un rail à gorge s'étendant longitudinalement, comprenant une partie inférieure formant une semelle (10) de forme allongée dans une direction transversale, une partie intermédiaire formant une âme (20), et une partie supérieure formant d'un premier côté transversal un champignon (30) et d'un second côté transversal opposé au premier une bavette (40), la bavette (40) et le champignon (30) définissant entre eux une gorge (50). Selon l'invention, la semelle (10) est dissymétrique dans un plan perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale. L'invention porte également sur l'application du rail décrit ci-dessus à la constitution d'une voie ferrée. <IMAGE>
