[origin: EP1462595A2] The door check device has a base plate (9) fixable on a pillar (1) of a door opening and a swivel mounted holding yoke (18) which is guided on a component part of the frame part which is mounted on the base plate. The component part for guiding the holding yoke runs on both sides of the base plate. The holding yoke can comprise two arms (27,28) whose ends on the door side are attached to the bearing part (15) and whose ends on the frame side are connected through a web.
