Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1462616A2] The arrangement for the axial and radial fixing of a guide vane assembly in the casing of a gas turbine engine has a piston ring type locking ring (30) which in cross section is L-shaped, with the long side (32) engaging in a radial slot (18) in the wall of the casing (14), and the short side (33) fitting behind a hook-form protrusion (34) on each blade head (11). The locking ring is held in its locked position by means of a U-shaped clamp (36) which is fastened on the subsequent turbine shroud segment (26) and which lies against the short side.
