[origin: EP1462659A2] The tubular fan (2) comprises a tube (1) with a motor driven impeller (3) and a diffuser assembly (6). The diffuser assembly has a number of guide vanes (7) which are connected to the tube and form a connection between the tube and the motor. The motor (5) is installed inside the diffuser assembly, and the fan is installed co-axially in the tube. The guide vanes are equidistantly spaced and especially distributed around the circumference of a base component of the diffuser assembly.
