[origin: WO03051320A1] The invention relates to a method for the permanent deformation of keratin fibres. According to the inventive method, the fibre is treated with an aqueous preparation (A) of a keratin-reducing substance before and/or after a mechanical deformation. After an exposure time, said fibre is rinsed with water and/or an aqueous agent, and an aqueous preparation (B) is applied. After an exposure time, the fibre is fixed by means of an aqueous preparation (C) of an oxidant, is optionally rinsed after an exposure time, and is optionally post-treated. Said preparation (B) contains at least one protein hydrolysate and at least one amino acid.
