Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03055667A1] The invention concerns a method for depositing yarns (5) of a reinforcing structure such as a carcass on a tyre which consists in arranging at least two filaments (5) on a tyre blank so that at least a first and a second filament form at the crown and the sidewalls, a series of transverse portions (14) extending substantially from one bead of the tyre to the other, wherein a single depositing head (54) is used for substantially simultaneous deposition of said at least first and second filaments. The head is advantageously arranged relative to the tyre blank so that the filaments form at least a pattern substantially parallel to each other. The substantially parallel pattern sections are preferably substantially applied between the crown and the beads.
