[origin: WO03058564A2] The invention relates to a method for verifying an entry which is subject to authorisation. According to said method, data is produced in a server in response to an electronically controlled request and is inputted into a comparing device and into the memory of a mobile data input and reproduction device. The data is then extracted from the data input and reproduction device by a reader, inputted into the comparing device and compared thereby with inputted data. Entry is allowed if the data read by the reader matches the data inside the comparing device. A server is provided in said device for drawing up data, along with a computer which is provided with a memory and is electronically connected to the server and a mobile data input and reproduction device. The server responds to the data input and reproduction unit via the computer. Upon request from the data input and reproduction device, data which can be called up from the server can be inputted into the comparing device, memory and data input and reproduction device. A reader is provided in order to read data reproduced on the data input and reproduction device, said reader being electronically connected to the comparing device in order to transport data which has been read. The data read by the reader is compared in the comparing device to the data stored in the memory. The reader is provided with a functional circuit which is dependent on said comparison and used to allow or impede entry.
