Abstract (en)
In a staple-binding process for the production of a magazine or a brochure, the pages are folded and placed on a saddle wire conveyer to a staple station. After stapling, a bonding agent is applied to the mid-page fold line that is then covered by a strip of paper. A commensurate quantity of a bonding agent is than applied to the outer spine, followed by the application of the cover. also claimed is a commensurate binding assembly.

Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines aus wenigstens einem, durch vorgeformte Drahtabschnitte an der Falzaussenkante nach innen gehefteten Druckprodukt (8) bestehenden Druckerzeugnisses (26), das auf einem Förderabschnitt (11) einer sattelartigen Förderstrecke rittlings transportiert und anschliessend geheftet wird, wird an der Falzinnenkante mit einem Druckbogen (17) an der Falzaussenkante klebeweise vereint. <IMAGE>
