Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1464915A1] A vehicle has a floor incorporating protection against an exploding mine. The blast-protection floor has a first functional layer made of armoured sheet steel or an ultra-strong metal alloy providing blast protection at least equivalent to that of armoured steel. The floor has a second functional layer (10) made of a material that is capable of plastic flow and erosion when under high pressure, and a third functional layer made of armoured sheet steel or an equivalent.
