[origin: EP1465312A2] The high-voltage sleeve (1) has an insulating body (12), a field control element (11) inside it and a supporting sleeve (9) made of sheet metal for supporting the field control element inwards relative to a space (7) for accommodating a conductor connecting part (8). The sheet metal of the supporting sleeve is provided with bending lines.. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a method of making a high-voltage connection (b) and the use of a sheet with bending lines as a support for connecting high-voltage cables with a high-voltage sleeve.
