Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Schneidwerkzeug für schwierig zerteilbare Materialien vorzuschlagen. Die Aufgabe wird gelöst durch ein Schneidwerkzeug, das elektrisch durch Widerstandsheizung beheizbar ist und aus einer Mischkeramik besteht, die aus einer elektrisch nicht leitenden Matrixkeramik und eine in die Matrixkeramik eingelagerte elektrisch leitfähige Oxidkeramik zusammengesetzt ist. <IMAGE>
