Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1466861A1] The fixed and movable portions (1,2) of the upright mast are shaped so that they can slide with respect to each other. They are each made of steel profiles (7,8) with several steel sheets (9,10) welded together. The two portions of the mast have cutouts (11) with tabs (13) bent inward to increase mechanical strength. Fastening members (12) connect the fixed mast to the framework of the stacking machine.
