[origin: EP1467150A2] The gas igniter (1) has a valve housing (80) and a push button (20) connected via a pin (30) to a magnetic valve (91) working with a valve seat (90). The magnetic valve has an armature (94) which, in the pressed position of the button, contacts the electromagnets (95), so that the electrical igniter is connected to an earth contact on the valve housing. The button has a flow path (130) extending from the earth contact over the valve housing (80) , the magnetic valve seat and the pin.
