[origin: WO03046466A1] The invention relates to a cartridge insertion magazine for a small arms weapon, particularly comprising a tubular magazine (4) and a device, particularly a rocker/spoon (5) that transports the cartridges from the tubular magazine (4) to the barrel (1) in order to be moved from a breech (13) into the barrel (1). The device, particularly the rocker/spoon (5) of the cartridge feeding device, can be removed from the space located between the tubular magazine (4) and the lock plate and/or from the space located between the barrel (1) and the lock. A guide surface (9) is attached to the insertion magazine (6) and enables the front end of the cartridge, during its movement toward the barrel (1), to slide along and be pushed upwards.
