A ridge roof has a ridge capping e.g. sheet copper profile has a semi-circular cross-sectional profile with additional ribbed ridges (13, 21, 22, 23) at regular intervals. One or more of the ridges esp. incorporates a nail or screw hole (31, 32) at the high point.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Firsthaube (10) aus Metall, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie mindestens eine quer zur Längsrichtung verlaufende Auswölbung (21, 22, 23) aufweist, wobei in mindestens einer Auswölbung (21, 22, 23) mindestens eine Bohrung (31, 32) vorgesehen ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Firsthaube bildet eine leichte und tragfähige Abdeckung. <IMAGE>
