[origin: EP1469150A2] Window, door, etc. comprises a leaf, a fixed frame, and a connecting rod fitting (1) having a connecting rod (4) which can be longitudinally displaced on the leaf or frame in a displacement direction (V) by a connecting rod drive. The connecting rod drive has a carrier (11) supported in the connecting rod in the displacement direction and driven in the displacement direction by a transmission (9) arranged in a transmission holder (10) on the leaf or frame. The connecting rod has an opening (8) completely housing the carrier and having an edge on which the carrier is supported in the displacement direction. An independent claim is also included for a connecting rod fitting for the above window, door, etc.
