The engine control method involves defining an anticipated lambda value starting from operating parameters, detecting a measured lambda signal, deriving a first correction value by comparing the lambda values and then deriving a second correction value from the first. The second correction value is ed to correct parameters of a torque-dependent functionality.. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) an arrangement for controlling an internal combustion engine.

Es werden eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Steuerung einer Brennkraftmaschine beschrieben, bei dem ausgehend von Betriebskenngrößen ein erwartetes Lambdasignal vorgegeben und mittels eines Sensors ein gemessenes Lambdasignal erfasst wird. Ausgehend von dem Vergleich der Lambdasignale wird ein erster Korrekturwert für ein Kraftstoffmassensignal bestimmt und ausgehend von dem ersten Korrekturwert wird ein zweiter Korrekturwert, um Parameter eines Filters einer Momentengröße zu korrigieren bestimmt. <IMAGE>
