Abstract (en)
The plug connector (10) has first and second plug parts (12,14) that can be fitted together with a latching or snap connection (38) and each has a guide channel for the ribbon cable (16) extending through the plug parts in the plugging direction from a rear region of the plug parts to a leading end (18). The plug parts are arranged in series in a pre-assembled state with their leading ends facing each other. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of manufacturing a ribbon cable with at least one plug connector.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Steckverbinder für einen Flachleiter, beispielsweise eine flexible gedruckte Schaltung (FPC) oder ein flexibles Flachkabel (FFC), mit einem ersten Steckerteil und einem zweiten Steckerteil, die mittels einer Rast- oder Schnappverbindung zusammenfügbar sind und jeweils einen Führungskanal für den Flachleiter aufweisen, der sich in Steckrichtung des Steckkontakts von einem hinteren Bereich der Steckerteile zu einer vorderen Stirnseite der Steckerteile durch die Steckerteile hindurch erstreckt. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Flachleiters mit mindestens einem Steckverbinder der voranstehend genannten Art. <IMAGE>
