[origin: WO03058830A1] A method of communicating (Fig. 19) with remote devices in a vehicle (800, 988) comprises connecting a first cable to a data source to conduct data signals therefrom, the cable extending through a headliner (809) of a vehicle, and connecting the first cable to a first transmitter (806) located in the headliner (809) to receive the data signals from the data source and to transmit the data signals for reception by one or more remote devices located inside the vehicle.
