[origin: EP1471013A1] The spray cap (18) is for a spray container with a valve and has a formation (20) for the spray container (10) with an application connection (32) connectable with the valve (36), which issues in the spray nozzle (36,38). A pivotable operating component (48) is located on the formation (20), which in its closed position at least partly covers the spray nozzle and in its opened position stands away from the spray cap. A pressure area (28) is provided in the formation near to the application connection. A complete or partial force in the operating direction of the valve on the pressure area or on the operating component opens the valve.
