A front grip (1) for a hand weapon, e.g. rifle, machine pistol etc., has a one piece plastic moulding with a hinged top cover (3) for clipping onto the weapon. At least one side of the grip is fitted with threaded inserts for threaded fasteners (10) which secure accessories to the grip, e.g. night vision sights, illuminator etc. The threaded inserts are metal and have self locking threads. The inserts are secured by thickened sections of the plastic moulding.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Vorderschaft (1) aus Kunststoff, der an einer Handfeuerwaffe in Bezug auf deren Lauf im wesentlichen lagefest anbringbar ist. In diesen Vorderschaft (1) ist an mindestens einer der Längsseiten mindestens eine selbstsichernde Gewindebüchse (11) aus Metall zur Befestigung mindestens einer Zusatzeinrichtung (4, 15) eingespritzt ist. Der erfindungsgemäße Vorderschaft kann bevorzugt als Austauschteil anstelle des ursprünglichen Vorderschaftes rasch und einfach angebracht werden und steigert die Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Handfeuerwaffe. <IMAGE>
