Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1471326A1] The piston (6) has its top end sealed by a membrane (8). It has a head with sloping surfaces (3') engaging sloping surfaces (3) on the housing (100) of the gas pressure switch (1). A pin (7) acting as a safety stop is accommodated in a through bore in the piston. The bottom surface (13) of the piston carries a movable contact (60) with sloping sides (10). The moving contact engages a pair of contact pins (5).
