Abstract (en)
The row electrode drive signals (ri(t)) and column electrode drive signals (cj(t)) are generated, for simultaneously driving row and column electrodes, such that the drive signals satisfy predefined relationship.. The gray shade of each display element of the exited row electrode is determined based on the column electrode drive signal. The row electrode drive time period is set less than the scanning time period.
