[origin: DE10315556B3] The plug socket insert contact protection device has a slider acted on by at least one resetting spring, the main body of the slider having 2 side pieces for blocking the plug pin openings in the socket insert (1), provided with angled surfaces for displacement of the slider into its open position upon simultaneous insertion of both plug pins. The plug socket insert has a central hollow pin (4), its inner bore (5) having a retaining nose (6) with an angled face (7), cooperating with an angled face (13) of a retaining nose (12) of a central hollow pin (10) of the housing (8) of the contact protection device, secured via a central fixing screw.
