[origin: WO03064089A1] The invention relates to a machining device in particular a milling machine for carrying out the given method, comprising a milling spindle (6) which may be displaced in three dimensions and by means of which the workpiece can be machined in a machining region. The machining device, more particularly a milling machine, comprises at least one mounting carriage (11, 12), with which the workpiece can be mounted in clamping adapters (14) for the first machining step. The machining device, more particularly, milling machine furthermore comprises at least one yoke (21) with which the partly-machined workpiece can be fixed for the second machining step by means of a special clamping adapter (22) in the first completely machined region (26-28) of the workpiece.
