[origin: WO03066490A2] The invention relates to a belt transport system, in which a vacuum or magnetic field is timed by means of a control unit. Said system consists of at least one vacuum belt or transport belt, which is driven directly or indirectly around the outer circumference of the gripper-drum disc wheels. This system permits the front edge of a panel to be placed permanently on the gripper marks during transport until the gripper system is closed.
