Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03066940A1] A nozzle block, for the production of synthetic threads and fibres, comprises a housing (2) which houses a nozzle set (3). The nozzle set (3) comprises a nozzle block upper piece (6), lying on a support piece (5) and a nozzle (4), arranged beneath the support piece which is supported by the housing (2). The nozzle block upper piece and support piece surround a sand chamber (25). The nozzle set is tensioned within the housing such that the sealing means (30) between the support piece (5) and nozzle (4) may be axially compressed on pressurising the sand chamber (25), whereby the degree of freedom of movement in the axial direction is defined by a stop. The filter chamber is thus securely sealed against the housing on pressurisation as well as in the non-pressurised state.
