[origin: WO03066979A1] The invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing an active fluid into the flushing water in a toilet basin, with a holder which may be hung on the edge of the toilet basin and a reservoir for the active fluid provided in the holder. A sheet-like distribution element (6) is provided on the holder, comprising, on one side, an impinging region (7) over which flushing water flows during the flushing process and a connector region (8) on the other side, in which a connector point (9) for an outlet opening from the reservoir is provided. The interior of the reservoir is permanently connected to the distribution element (6) by means of the outlet opening and the edge of the reservoir is arranged at a small separation from the face of the distribution element (6). According to the invention, the above is characterised in that a ventilation channel (12), open on the upper side, is arranged on the upper side of the distribution element (6) on the side of the connector point (9) facing away from the impinging region (7) which extends from the longitudinal edge of the distribution element (6) to under the edge of the reservoir and the ventilation channel (12) is sealed on three sides on the boundary side of the inner end thereof.
