On a long journey in a bus or on a plane a standard plaid is difficult to keep in a comfortable position and interferes with the neighboring passengers because of its bulky quality. The new design of a plaid is wider at the top, provided with long sleeves, and fitted with a foot insertion area at the bottom end, which can also be used as a storage and transport container for the folded plaid.
