Abstract (en)
The nozzles (3, 4, 51a-c to 5na-c) are associated with switch-on points. A measured value is used to form a predictor value (XF) for the weft tip. When this reaches the switch-on point (xj) of the relevant air nozzle or nozzles, the controller (10) supplies compressed air to one or more nozzles. Nozzles include a main nozzle (3) and/or tandem nozzle (4) and one or more transfer nozzles supplied with compressed air. A similar strategy controls the transfer nozzles. The switch-on point corresponds to a position of the nozzle in the shed, groups of nozzles being operated similarly using this criterion. The predictor value includes a safety value which depends on the resolution of the measurement system, the air pressure response time at the nozzle and/or the velocity (vF) of the weft thread tip. Its value for thread tip position and/or velocity is formed from measured values from the current weft thread (2). Using a similar strategy, a switch-off point is allocated to the nozzles.

Ein System zum Eintragen eines Schussfadens in ein Webfach einer Luftdüsenwebmaschine (1) umfasst einen Fadenspeicher (21) mit Messvorrichtung (23.1,23.2), mehrere Luftdüsen (3,4,5.1a-c bis 5.na-c,6) zum Eintragen des Schussfadens (2) und eine Steuerung (10), die mit der Messvorrichtung (23.1,23.2) verbunden ist, um die Druckluftversorgung der Luftdüsen (3,4,5.1a-c bis 5.na-c,6) in Abhängigkeit von Messwerten der Messvorrichtung (23.1,23.2) zu steuern. Den Luftdüsen (3,4,5.1 a-c bis 5.na-c,6) sind Einschaltpunkte (xj) zugeordnet, wobei die Steuerung (10) eine oder mehrere der Luftdüsen (3,4,5.1a-c bis 5.na-c,6) mit Druckluft beaufschlagt, sobald ein mit Hilfe der Messwerte gebildeter Prädiktorwert (xF) für die Position der Schussfadenspitze den Einschaltpunkt (xj) der betreffenden Luftdüse beziehungsweise Luftdüsen erreicht. <IMAGE>
