[origin: EP1473754A2] The switch lock (17) latches the switch pin (9) of an electric switch (1) which, against the force of a spring (7) can be moved by a drive rod (15) from an OFF position to an ON position. A first lever (21) is pivotally coupled to the drive rod. This abuts against a stop (23) in a latch position. A second lever (22) is provided. This has an operating surface associated with the stop. The second lever (22) is held by a second spring (28) against the first lever in a stop position. By pivoting the second lever under the effect of an initial force, which works against the force of the second spring, the operating surface acts on the stop such that the stop is moved to a release position. The force of the two springs act on the first lever independent of each other. Independent claims also cover an electric switch including such a trigger.
